Who We Are
Ebb and Flow Social Work are a team of Brisbane based, mobile social workers. Our team of qualified and experienced Social Workers provide specialist disability support.
All Ebb and Flow Social Workers are registered with the Australian Association of Social Workers and are bound by the AASW Code of Ethics.
Principal Social Workers, Jodie and Sonya both have over 25 years experience working with disability in community settings. Working with individuals, families, communities and other agencies, Sonya and Jodie understand and are experienced in the complexities of disability and how it can impact all area’s of a person’s life.

Our Speciality - SBH
Specialist Spina Bifida & Hydrocephalus (SBH) Disability Knowledge and Experience
Our Social Workers have specialised knowledge in the conditions of spina bifida and hydrocephalus and each have over 20 years experience in working directly with adults with SBH on state, national and international levels.
We understand:
- The physical, cognitive and medical impacts of the disability
- The stressors involved transition periods
- From teenage into adulthood
- Becoming independent of families
- Ageing with SBH
- The importance of keeping the SBH community connected and supported with quality and experienced services

We offer dedicated online groups, seminars and workshops to support the needs of the SBH community and those who support them.
